Belle Liu is an evangelist and apologist whose work centers on one conviction: the claims of Jesus can bear the weight of a hurting and lost generation.

In high school, Belle deconstructed from Christianity out of real pain and anger at God, searching for relief in substances, sexual sin, self-harm, and LGBTQ relationships — all while staying angry at, and skeptical of, God and the Bible.

Then God broke into her life and radically changed everything she thought she knew. He sanctified her, healed her, and made her into a new creation.

The wrestling with Scripture and the character of God didn’t end — but it refined her. It’s why she can sit across from someone else’s hardest question without flinching; she’s already asked it herself. From doubting the trinity to the reliability of the gospels, Belle never stopped seeking the truth.

This led her to co-found Christ Underground. Belle spends her weeks in street conversations, planting apologetics teams worldwide, and meeting one-on-one with Muslims and Jehovah’s Witnesses to win them to Christ — while online, millions encounter the case for Christ each month, many from Muslim backgrounds who’ve never had a respectful answer.

Through Christ Underground, she has trained 19k+ believers across 100+ countries — ex-Muslims stepping into their calling, missionaries preparing to go, and Christians who want to engage hard questions effectively.
